Privacy Policy — Arroro Go

Effective 13 September 2026 · OttoArk

Arroro Go has no account and asks for nothing about you. It collects anonymous usage statistics so we can see which levels are too hard and where players stop, and it shows ads between levels unless you buy Arroro Infinite. Nothing it handles identifies you personally.

What is stored on your device

The app saves your progress so you can close it and come back. Everything in this table stays in the app's own storage on your device and is never transmitted.

StoredWhy
Which levels you have cleared, and your best result on eachTo continue where you left off
Your best IQ score and play streakShown on the home screen
Sound, vibration and language preferencesTo keep your settings between sessions

What is sent, and to whom

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google, to count how the game is played. It sends events like "a level started", "a level was finished or given up on", and how long that took. Google processes this on our behalf and we see only the totals.

SentWhy
Which level was started, finished or abandoned, and after how longTo find levels that are too hard or too dull
How many mistakes and hints a level tookTo tune the difficulty curve
Whether the tutorial was completedTo see whether the game teaches itself
Device model, operating system version, app version, language, countryCollected automatically by Google Analytics, and used to know which devices to test on
A random app instance identifierCreated by Google Analytics so repeat sessions from one install can be counted once. It is not your name, your account or your device's advertising identifier, it is reset if you reinstall the app, and it is not used to identify you anywhere else.

Country is worked out from the network address the request arrives on; the address itself is not stored. Google's handling of this data is described in Firebase's privacy documentation.

Advertising

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob between levels and, if you choose to watch one, to continue a level after running out of hearts. To show and measure ads, Google receives your device's advertising identifier, approximate location (from the network address), and standard device information. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice from Settings. On iOS you are also asked whether to allow tracking; if you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalised. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Ads may also be served through Google's mediation partners — Meta Audience Network, Pangle, Liftoff Monetize and Unity Ads — which receive the same kind of data for the same purpose.

To measure which advertising campaigns bring players to the game, the Android app also sends a record of each ad impression — its estimated value, the ad unit, your device's advertising identifier and whether you have limited ad tracking, your consent status for personalised ads, the Google Play install referrer, country, language, device model, OS version and build, the app version, and the app's random instance identifier — to our advertising partner. The partner uses it only to attribute installs and measure campaign results for this app; it is not sold and is not combined with other sources to identify you.

Arroro Infinite (in-app purchase)

Arroro Infinite is a one-time purchase that removes interstitial ads, unlocks unlimited hints and makes revives ad-free. The purchase is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; the app receives only a confirmation that it was made and stores that on your device. We never see your payment details.

What the app does not do

Links that leave the app

The Settings screen links to this policy and to the Terms of Service. Opening either hands the address to your browser; from that point your browser's own privacy policy applies. The app itself never fetches those pages.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device, and resets the analytics identifier so nothing further can be joined to it. There is no account to close. To have the statistics already collected removed, write to the address below; because nothing identifies you, please say roughly when and on what device you played so the records can be found.

Children

Arroro Go is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age. The usage statistics described above are anonymous and are not used for advertising or profiling.

Changes to this policy

If a future version collects more than is described here, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
